It’s judgement day in the tariff war. US President Donald Trump is all set to unveil a plan to impose tariffs on key trading partners which is likely to include India. US officials have made it clear that top nations with whom America has a large trade deficit will be the prime target of the tariffs. Neither Trump or his administration has revealed any details regarding the structure of the duties or the countries that will be impacted. However, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has said that the tariffs are likely to come into effect immediately.
