Mahesh Vyas, MD and CEO of CMIE, noted that a large share of the investment is driven by government capex and infrastructure, rather than manufacturing. Infrastructure is primarily funded by the government and accounts for nearly 60% of all investments in India, while manufacturing contributes only around 26% to 30%.
