Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will meet US Treasury Secretary Bessent during her visit to the US for the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings. Emphasising the India-US trade relationship, Sitharaman said she hopes the first tranche of a trade agreement is concluded by fall, reinforcing India’s commitment to bilateral economic engagement.
